    If you want to immerse yourself in the community we have our Broke Village Market running on the first Sunday of the month . It runs form 9am until 1pm and offers a great chance to do a little locally inspired shopping . We aim to showcase some of the best products of our region and handmade creations from our local families . Attached to the market is a park which includes a skate park and playground. So if you would like a community adventure for everyone this is it !

  • Handmade in the Hunter Markets

    The first time you visit our charming country market, it will be hard to resist the temptation of shopping for that perfect gift for yourself or someone special. The Handmade In The Hunter Markets' purpose is to showcase a variety of makers and creators. We ensure that no 2 stalls are the same, providing you with an array of unique goods from a community of diverse locals.

    You’ll find a variety of products made by local artisans with unique skills who work tirelessly behind their creations - all handmade right in the Greater Hunter area. And don't forget about picking up some wine or picnic supplies on your way out too; we've got everything right here in Sobels rose-lined gardens.

  • Wollombi Village Markets

    Visit historic Wollombi on the holiday Monday of each long weekend (Easter, June and October) for this great market of over 100 stalls, including local produce and crafts, plants, clothes, tools, bric-a-brac and much more.

    This market attracts thousands of visitors to the beautiful countryside of the Wollombi Valley in Hunter Valley Wine Country. Wollombi is just over an hour from the outskirts of Sydney and Newcastle and 30 minutes from Cessnock. Visit and experience the relaxed atmosphere of the Wollombi Valley, which boasts a wealth of activities, accommodation and attractions, such as boutique wineries, superb natural beauty, and a rich history.

  • Sunday Muster Markets

    The Sunday Muster is a roundup of creative people; artists, crafts persons, and designers, in a boutique artisan market held on the grounds at Mortels Sheepskin Factory in Thornton.

    Mortels have a tradition of handcrafted Australian made products and have opened their Thornton premise and grounds for like-minded people, emerging small business, to showcase their skills and wares and to join Mortels in creating a varied and enjoyable experience drawing visitors from far and wide.

    With the ease of substantial off street parking, Mortels Thornton is highly accessible. Located at just off the New England Highway, Pacific Highway and M1, The Sunday Muster artisan markets is the ideal day out with all that is on offer, including a good variety of high quality locally made products and live music. The Sunday Muster culture is upbeat and fun, with variety and surprise.
